Our Company
We provide support for business' seeking to benefit from the application of ISO standard management systems in the areas of Quality (ISO9000); Environment (ISO 14001); and similar management Standards including industry sector standards.
We can satisfy any requirement for the development of a documented management system relating to the above or any other documented standard, or we can support your efforts to rationalize and improve the effectiveness of existing systems.
A key component of our success in this field is our determination to ensure that the new or improved systems are focused on satisfying our client’s needs and business objectives.
We provide support for an established business management system in the form of Outsourced Internal Audit, with a focus far removed from the traditional compliance audit.
Our History
Prior to starting our business in 1993, the partners came from positions at senior and executive level, with companies in Engineering, Scientific Research, Aerospace and Electronics. We had seen and participated in the development of formal documented management systems along with the external assessment and registration of these, (Primarily ISO9001). We knew that a management system developed around specific business needs could also satisfy the demands for ISO Standard registration, and early on offered guarantees to our current and potential clients as a sign of our commitment to this view. From the outset our fixed cost, guaranteed satisfaction, and independent accreditation was a success.
Today, when the requirement for new management system registration is less intense, our focus has changed to helping clients become aware of and improve the benefits they get from existing systems.
Our Aim
Internal Audit: This mandatory activity is often carried out in a ritual manner, by staff better qualified to do other things, and viewed by the recipients of these audits as a cost of doing business rather than an opportunity to improve performance. The entire process of audit in such situations brings auditing and those who conduct it into disrepute. We provide an outsourced audit that focuses on the requirement of managers for a restricted scope of information covering system Adequacy, Application & Achievement. All other issues arising from our audits are dealt with where they occur, and not escalated to senior managers. The effect of this is to deliver audits that resemble Risk Assessments, deliver improved performance, and are therefore assessments of system adequacy rather than system inadequacy.
An increasing number of clients are now looking to add additional scope to a management system: Typically seeking to add ISO14001 (Environmental) to an existing ISO 9001 (Quality) registration. For such work we again offer a fixed price service, developing an integrated management system covering both sets of requirements. Additional scope options continue to appear, and through our own continuous development process we are well equipped to service client needs.
